Lautje and the Bubbles

Thanks to his Aunt Stephie (as previously documented), Lautje is now very well-acquainted with blowing bubbles. In fact, he's fascinated by them. So much so that the Mommy and Daddy have taken to hiding the "bubble bottle" to keep from having arguments with Lautje over whether it's the right time to blow bubbles (dinnertime or bedtime, for example, being a bad times for bubbles...). Regardless, Lautje is both stubborn and creative, so when he wants the bubbles, he doesn't bother to search for the bottle anymore, he simply points to the spot where it used to normally stand and refuses to accept our pleas of ignorance. Thus, Lautje usually gets his bubble-fix...
But that's fine; how else could a Daddy get such smiles and adoration for so little work?
Of course, Lautje has yet to completely understand the concept of blowing bubbles: he rather enjoys eating the bubble liquid instead. Which, naturally, means that the old threat of "washing someone's mouth out with soap" doesn't really work as a deterrent with Lautje...
