Grandpa's Boy
Just the other day, while hanging out with the boy in the kitchen, the Daddy decided to perform a little experiment to test a theory he had. Lautje's five magnets were lined up across the refrigerator in an orderly fashion. Naturally, such orderliness was an affront to Lautje's sense of disorder, a challenge to his troublemaking abilities that could not go unmet. So, as the Daddy foresaw, Lautje immediately set about taking them down one-by-one. As you can see, the white sheep from the middle was the first to go, in his left hand...
And then the pink pig, also in his left hand...
And then, after shuffling to the right, the brown cow, also in his left hand...
And after more side-shuffling, the tan cow, also in his left hand...
And then Lautje finished the job, shuffling sideways one last time, by removing the blue pig, in his left hand...
Which went some way to proving the Daddy's theory about Lautje: not that he dislikes order and prefers to destroy cleanliness (which, though also proven, hardly required such an experiment to verify what the Daddy has long known...), but rather that Lautje (at least in this stage of his development - though the Daddy still hopes it's a temporary affliction) is indeed a Grandpa's boy...
