The Papa and his grandkids

The Papa's visit included all of his favorite things (ok, except for golf, but then, it was rather chilly). For instance, there was good food and good beer, accompanied by a toast shared with his youngest granddaughter:

There were plenty of trains and tracks - and sometimes they could even be convinced to fit together long enough to permit Thomas to go for a spin:
