The Terrible Twosome

Lautje and his sister have developed a variety of new and interesting activities to be shared, some of which involve a slightly higher risk of bodily harm than others. Tandem sliding, for instance, tends to leave the Mommy in need of roughly 15 sets of hands to keep teeth, heads and noses separated:
"Repairing" their bobbycars is a slightly less violent endeavor - though the bobbycars would probably beg to differ, since the preferred tool for their repair work is a hammer (and until they have refined their approach, the Mommy is going to make sure and keep them from "fixing" her washing machine!)...Watching Thomas the Train, one of the few shows their perfectly unreasonable parents will allow them to watch, is another favorite activity. Without parental intervention, both Lautje and Anneke would happily spend their days re-watching the same episode and cheering every single time Toby, their inexplicable favorite, comes into view:
One of the Mommy's favorite recent developments is the Twosome's fascination with dragging all of their bed stuff underneath the drawing table and "going to sleep." Why the table is anyone's guess, but since it involves a decent bit of quiet time and minimum fighting, this is one habit the Mommy and Daddy are not going to question...
While the fact that Anneke wakes up twice every night crying "Mine! Mine!" is admittedly slightly worrisome, the two miraculously still seem to care for each other. As long as the other one doesn't touch their toys. Or eat their food. Or gets dressed faster. Or gets their water bottle first. Or... well. Other than that, it's pure love:
