Laternenfest Practice

As with all children, both Lautje and Anneke become exceedingly excited about holidays. So much so, in fact, that they sometimes practice the songs from the Kita that they will be singing. On one recent morning, they performed a concert for the Daddy (which he luckily caught on film):

For those who don't understand the lyrics (and that would include the Daddy himself), they are not so important as to merit inclusion here. However, what is interesting is Lautje's final comment. Apparently, he wasn't convinced that the Daddy would appreciate his efforts... "Applause for the children"
