Winter may finally be over...

... so it is time to post what remains of the winter and spring photo folders. Maybe that will be good luck for the weather? Which would do wonders for the marital happiness of the Mommy and the Daddy, since the latter is about ready for remigration after six months of rain and cold... So, without further ado: The Dude's Birthday - yes, it has been a long, long time. But nevertheless, it was a good day shared with his numerous cousins:

Then there was carnival. Which Mr. "I-don't-do-dress-up-and-costumes-are-for-wimps" was not only enthusiastic about, he actually came up with an idea himself! And so, for the first time ever, the Mommy didn't have to resort to coercion/coaxing/pleading/tricks to get Lautje into a carnival costume:

Needless to say, Anneke would gladly have gone as Tinkerbell for the rest of her natural life...

And even though the Daddy may deny it, even in the past few months there have been the occasional days of sunshine. And so, the first spring picture:

Luckily, the days of thick down coats, hats, gloves and scarfs are gone. And have been, at least since about last Friday!
