Best buddies

Despite their occasional squabbling and arguing, the dude and his little sister continue to be immensely fond of each other, and it's hard to separate them.

 If Lautje takes the fire truck for a ride, so does Anneke.

If Anneke brings out her horse for a gallop around the apartment, so does Lautje.

If the dolls need to be settled in underneath the kitchen table in order to protect them from the incessant hail (ever so prevalent in these quarters, apparently), both of them will tackle that together. Even if that means for Lautje that he practically has to fold himself in half.

If a rainbow appears in the bathroom window, they will stand there debating the existence of unicorns that live on that rainbow, potentially with magical powers and/or a castle that they drag behind them on a leash. The latter being one of Anneke's more controversial theories.

And if there is anything at all to be found that has four wheels and can be propelled forward by leg power, the Dude is always thrilled to take his sister for a spin...
