For as long as the Daddy can remember, the Papa has played a guitar. And since Lautje loves music, the Papa was kind enough to give him a private concert in the backyard during the recent visit to Texas. Of course, grandpas have a soft spot for their granddaughters, and the Papa is no different: Juju-Bean (the Daddy's nickname for Anneke) not only got a private concert, she also got her own song...

Lautje was so impressed with the Papa's guitar playing that when he got home and saw the Mommy's (very dusty, unused, and out-of-tune) guitar, he had to give it a try too...

While the Mommy and Daddy were planning on both Anneke and Lautje eventually learning an instrument, they were also planning on at least a few more years of relative peace and quiet...
