The Cute Boy

Recently, my wife had a day where virtually every picture she took of the boy turned out to be adorable. Now, generally, I like to post the strange photos, or just anything other than the typical "Oh look how cute he is..." type photos. I tend to believe that regardless of how good the photo is of him, it doesn't do him justice: to me he is ten times cuter in real life than any of the photos could ever show. But then again, I'm a father, so I pretty much have to believe that; it's genetically hard-wired into me. So, as I said, I try to post the funny photos, because they at least are entertaining and don't make me feel so overtly sappy. However, I have to make an exception in this case, because, well, everytime I see these photos, my heart just melts. This is the boy that I see everyday: smiley, happy, adorable, making faces. It's true that he's a grump (he is, after all, a Stone boy...), and likes to pee on things (see previous comment...), but this is the face that makes his mother and I want to walk through brick walls for him.

Sleepy Boy

Sorry for the delay in posting new photos, but we got a bit sidetracked around here with the start of the new semester and all. In any event, here are two new photos of the boy sleeping. In the bottom one, you can see that we try to wrap him up, so he can't move his arms and accidentally wake himself up. Unfortunately, regardless of how well we wrap him, Houdini finds a way free while he's sleeping. Then he eventually whacks himself in the face accidentally and wakes up with an aggrieved look, as if we hit him or something. Funny boy...
