On the Patio

As mentioned, Lautje has been spending alot of time outdoors on the back patio. Mostly, the Mommy sits and reads while Lautje explores: he's accustomed to the patio tiles now, but he still avoids the grass at all costs. Below, you can see him in his play-chair, which keeps him well occupied, and gives his parents a bit of rest.

Lautje's New Hat

Among Lautje's many new acquisitions courtesy of the baby-clothing stores here in Texas, one has quickly become a favorite: his golf hat. As can be seen in the top photo, he sometimes wears it like an old Scottish greenskeeper, dispensing wisdom from his stroller. However, as seen below, he sometimes likes to go for a more "hip" look as well.

Lautje Outdoors

Since arriving in Texas, Lautje has spent some time outdoors in the sunshine. Up top, you can see Lautje and the Mommy enjoying the frontporch swing. Of course, not all of his time outdoors has been to his liking, as can be seen below. He wasn't terribly thrilled with the backyard patio paving stones or our decision to put him on them: "When is someone going to come pick me up?"
