Lautje enjoys being out and about these days, especially now that the weather is passably nice. So, generally, when he gets to venture outside, he wears one of his golf hats and hangs on to the Mommy's or Daddy's housekeys (he figures - correctly - that the Mommy and Daddy can't leave him behind as long as he has their keys...)

Naturally, after his parents have dragged him through the farmer's market (with all of its strange smells and sounds) even a "patient" boy like Lautje gets a bit tired of his kinderwagen, and wants out to walk around...

So, generally, a reward (or bribe) is offered. Decently warm weather, of course, means ice cream for the Mommy, and thus ice cream for Lautje too (since Lautje insists on trying everything the Mommy and Daddy eat). Thus, the Mommy is made happy, Lautje is made happy, and the Daddy's wallet is not inconsiderably lightened for the walk home...

Right to Privacy

With a little boy like Lautje, there is, of course, no privacy. Even in the bathroom, shutting the door doesn't so much secure one's privacy as invite Lautje to come disturb it. He takes the closed door as a challenge, indeed, a personal affront. As can be seen below, he will stop at nothing (even using apparent karate moves) to get through the door.
And, naturally, once inside the bathroom door, the shower curtain is of little consequence: a mere trifle to be pushed aside as necessary. Needless to say, anytime the Mommy or Daddy shower, the inevitable conclusion is a very wet bathroom floor, and a soaking wet Lautje.

Toilet Paper

There are moments for the Mommy and Daddy when they know that they should stop Lautje from doing something, but what he is doing is so hilariously funny that they simply can't. At least not until they take a photo or two.
Obviously, there is very little commentary necessary here...
