Lautje and the Oma

Over the past month or so, Lautje has spent a bit of time with his Oma, showing her his special brand of trouble. Naturally, the Mommy and Daddy took a few pictures... Up first, Lautje and the Oma hanging out on the floor, with Lautje showing the Oma how well he can trip over his own playtoys...
Next, Lautje and the Oma at the Mommy's birthday picnic. As you can see, Lautje's quite comfortable lounging in the Oma's lap and watching everybody else run around and break a sweat. He's got his Oma, his hat, and a comfortable seat, so why bother moving around?
As you can see, Lautje also enjoys practicing his pouty face on the Oma...
And, of course, anytime Lautje gets to hang out with the Oma, you know he's going to have fun!

General Cute Boy Photos

It seemed like the time to post a few random cuteboy photos. Up first, a typical happy Lautje face. But then again, anytime Lautje sees a camera, he tends to smile and mug for the photo.
One of the Mommy's favorite photos. When the Daddy has his laptop out on the coffee table, Lautje tends to plant himself in between the Daddy's legs so as to keep track of what the Daddy is doing. But sometimes he gets bored and starts looking for other entertainment, all the while maintaining the protection of the Daddy's legs. In this instance, he spied a Mommy to flirt with...
One final cuteboy photo, taken some time ago at the Mommy's birthday picnic: "Hey, you better wish my Mommy happy birthday!"

Adventures in Eating Continued

As previous posts have shown, Lautje has a penchant for making a mess while eating (and those photos didn't even take into consideration what the floor looked like after Lautje was done eating...). And while one would think that Lautje's newfound ability to successfully use a spoon would lessen the mess, in fact, it appears to have only made an occasional difference. As can be seen below, Lautje's use of a spoon can lead to surprisingly good results.
However, more often than not, it leads to faces such as the following:

But fret not, Lautje's ability to use a spoon has in no way diminished his ability to make a mess the old-fashioned way. Though, in recent weeks, Lautje has become less interested in spreading the food around his face, and more interested in seeing just how much food his mouth can hold at one time.
