The Snow Days

Although Lautje and Anneke didn't have a White Christmas, they nonetheless were treated to quite a few days of (by Texas standards...) heavy snowfall. Unlike last winter, where Lautje was less than enthused by going to the park in such conditions, this winter it was all a big adventure. Whether he was playing soccer with the Daddy...

Or helping the Mommy make snowballs to throw at the Daddy...

Lautje was endlessly entertained by the fluffy white stuff on the ground (even if he still hasn't figured out how to wear his gloves...)

Anneke got in on the act as well, but mainly from the relative safety of the kinderwagen (which, given the poor aim of some of the snowballs, wasn't actually all that safe...). Though she didn't seem to mind staying warm and dry.
