Whirling Skirts

These days, Lautje discovers something new and exciting every single day. It's fascinating to watch, and also produces some great photos, like the two below where Lautje discovered the magic of his Mommy's flowing, whirling skirt. Well, that, or he was just excited about discovering that you could look up women's skirts in general...

Causing Trouble

Lautje has the amazing ability (inherent in all babies, I suspect) to find trouble regardless of where he is. In this instance, he was sitting in his chair in the kitchen as the Mommy cooked and realized that by leaning forward, he could open one of the bottom drawers (as seen in the top photo). And, of course, anything that he can get his hands on obviously is worth tasting (as seen in the bottom photo...).

Recently, the Oma and the Opa came down to visit Lautje. As you can see, despite the Oma being there, Lautje was still fascinated by a myriad of other things...

The Bikini Incident

Have I mentioned that Lautje is a little strange sometimes? One day not so very long ago, the little guy was GRUMPY and tired and needed to sleep. Unfortunately, it was still an hour before his bed time, so we needed to keep him awake and entertained (because when he goes to bed an hour early, we have to wake up an hour early the next day... our little alarm clock). In any event, he discovered his mother's bikini top in the laundry pile and was fascinated. It kept him entertained until it was his bed time, and everyone was happy. Oh, and it produced some entertaining photos...
