Business as Usual

Although Lautje's life has changed completely (he's a big brother now...), his actual day-to-day activities have remained remarkably constant. For instance, he still enjoys standing at the living room window and informing the Mommy and Daddy of every passing Strassenbahn (and at peak times, that's every 2-3 minutes...).

And, of course, he still enjoys sitting in "his" corner with "his" CD player dancing to "his" CD (the Mommy and Daddy have tried to change the CD out for something different/better/anything else, but were faced with a very disappointed and confused son...).

And so long as neither the Mommy nor the Daddy are attempting to sleep or do anything constructive with their time, Anneke never notices even the loudest of Lautje's indiscretions. She sleeps peacefully through the mayhem, saving her lung power and tears for the nighttime, when they can be more effective...

Lautje loves to schmooze with his Mommy and he also enjoys staring with fascination at his new sister. Naturally, when the Mommy has Anneke in her arms, Lautje more often than not takes the opportunity to do both at the same time...
And, naturally, the Daddy takes the opportunity to snap a few photos of the important things in life...
