Cute Boy Photos

After all of the special photos of Lautje being Lautje and getting into trouble, I thought I'd post a couple of photos of the boy just being cute. Up top, you can see him in his "going out" clothing, hanging out on a blanket when we were out hiking. Down below, well, it's just a cute boy photo of Lautje laughing and relaxing on his blanket on the floor.

Before and After

Thumbing through the old photos of Lautje, we ran across one of when we brought him home from the hospital, as shown up top. We were somewhat amazed at how very tiny he was back then. So we took a new photo of Lautje in his car seat as a comparison, which can be seen in the bottom photo. I think it is safe to say that he is eating enough these days...

Random Tastings

Have I mentioned lately how just about every loose object that comes within 5 yards of Lautje ends up in his mouth? So, he's either teething, or, well, weird. Then again, it's probably both...

Just Like Dad...

Given how much trouble Lautje seems to find these days, I felt these two photos were somehow appropriate. Up top, you can see Lautje's guilt-ridden "Well, nobody told me I wasn't supposed to eat that computer cable" face. And in the bottom photo, you can see from his t-shirt where he gets his trouble-making ability.

Big-time Explorer Boy

With his rapidly developing ability to crawl, Lautje has suddenly become an explorer. As can be seen in the top photo, he's managed to find his way out of the living room and is now well-acquainted with all of the other rooms in the apartment. Nothing can stop him. Indeed, his impatience to explore is not even hindered by those pesky pants that always seem to fall down as he stubbornly works his way across the floor, as can be seen in the bottom photo. He just keeps on moving, until either they fall completely away or his bemused parents pull them back up (which invariably irritates him as he doesn't much care for the interruption...).

Hanging on the Floor

Two of my favorite photos. Lautje really enjoys hanging out on the floor these days, as can be seen in the top photo. Every now and then he'll crawl up to one of us and intimate that he wants to be picked up (this generally involves the grabbing of our legs and feet, a significant amount of noise, or both). But more often than not, if we want to hang out with him, then we have to come down to his level, as can be seen in the bottom photo. What can I say? His daddy's a soft touch.
