Picture Taking

It's becoming harder and harder to get pictures of the little guy while he's on the floor. It always starts out well , like the top photo. However, within 3 seconds, the target of the photo has quickly moved into the non-focus range, as can be seen in the bottom photo. And if you stay there long enough, it's very likely that you are no longer the only one with your hand on the camera...

Sleep Issues

It seems that Lautje attracts strange sleep issues these days. Aside from an unhealthy addiction to Marty Robbins music as he sleeps (yes, the Daddy is very proud to have spawned such a boy), he also occasionally takes his spit-up towel and places it over his head (as he sleeps!) as in the top photo. We have to watch that one. Even more entertaining is when he wakes up and attacks the bumper padding on his crib, as the bottom photo shows. When they say "never a dull moment", with Lautje, that includes when he should be asleep...

It appears that some people refuse to believe that the Mommy actually cut off her hair, and have requested further photographic evidence. So, here it is: another photo of the Mommy and her short hair (as well, of course, as the cute boy in his hat!). The bottom photo is another cute-boy-in-the-hat photo, but this time sans Mommy. Enjoy...

Cleanliness is next to Quietness

We found a new way to keep Lautje entertained, one that doesn't involve either one of us carrying him around or watching over him as he crawls his way through the apartment. For some unknown reason, he loves to sit and stare at the washer as it rotates. Can't get enough of it, which, of course, means that the Mommy and Daddy's clothing is awfully clean these days...

Dirty Boy

Eating with Lautje these days is an adventure, as these photos show. Up top, as you can see, he makes a bit of mess, though it is not so terribly obvious. In the bottom photo, however, the extent of his destructive powers becomes a little clearer. Apparently, we have some work to do on his table manners...
