Happy kids and exhausted parents
Moving is confusing at best, especially for little people. Anneke and Lautje, however, actually revelled in what they perceived as excitement and exhilaration (while their parents leaned more towards unbelievable chaos and mess). Even the temporary relocation of Anneke's bed to the new kitchen (bed wider than doorframe - bad combination) simply provided an opportunity for a quick trampoline session...
They were also perfectly content to find their own seating arrangements for their afternoon snack - effectively halting everything that required a hammer, nails, screws, or any other kind of tool, but really, who needs a toolbox with two little angels such as these?
Both kids insisted on helping out their parents wherever they could. So when the Oma needed help with removing the protective plastic layer from the new kitchen counter top, she couldn't have asked for a more enthusiastic assistant:
Once comfortably settled, Lautje and Anneke proceeded to explore their new hunting grounds. Their very own reading corner, complete with blankets, books and Bevo, quickly proved one of their favorite spots:
