Awake and Asleep
Anneke is spending more and more time awake these days (which is somewhat of a double-edged sword...). Which, of course, means that there is now photographic evidence that she actually has eyes:
And, apparently, those eyes work: unlike Laurens, she's rather skeptical of the camera, and can get a bit unruly at times...
Given that his sister is now awake more and more, it seemed appropriate to throw in a few photos of Lautje and his most recent sleep habit: taking a toy/book/whatever to bed. In the past, this occasionally happened, but more recently, Lautje has become ever more attached to his toys and simply can't stand to be apart from them. And if it helps him sleep, then obviously, the Mommy and Daddy are not about to argue. Up first, a book that apparently was somewhat less than a page-turner...
And, one of his more recent acquisitions, a large ring with a blinking red light. One can not really put into words how much Lautje adores this toy. He's fascinated by the reflection of the flashing light on different objects (the wall, the door, the Daddy's forehead...). However, not so fascinated as to keep him awake indefinitely...
