The War of the Computer

Lautje loves "his" computers. And they are truly "his", or at least that is what he thinks. So, anytime the Mommy and Daddy bring out one of "his" laptops, he instantly drops whatever he is doing and comes over to investigate and make sure that everything is running as inefficiently as possible. This normally takes the form of continuously pushing a variety of keys until something happens on the screen (normally something like a window asking whether he really, really wants to delete all of the Mommy's important files, which he, of course, answers in the affirmative).
In response to Lautje's growing interest in computers, some strategies were implemented to keep the laptops safe. Specifically, the coffee table was placed in front of the couch to keep Lautje from being able to reach the laptops, while still allowing the Mommy and Daddy to work on them. As you can see below, this was somewhat successful (so long as the Mommy and Daddy could keep Lautje from standing on them to get more reach...).
Unfortunately, Lautje recently found a solution to this particular defense, and reclaimed "his" property.
And so, back to the drawing board for the Mommy and Daddy in this ongoing struggle...

Snow Day

As some of you might have noticed, the weather in Germany has been somewhat colder than normal. The end result of this cold spell was a batch of snow which blanketed the ground last week. Since Lautje had never seen snow, the Mommy and Daddy (out of fear that it would soon melt) bundled themselves up and braved the elements so that their little boy could experience his first snow fall (in retrospect, there was no hurry: it's still cold and snowy...).
Lautje enjoyed it well enough, so long as he was in his kinderwagen or in the Daddy's arms, as shown above. However, once he was on the ground, he was somewhat confused by the entire situation: "Hey, guys, I'm not sure what this stuff is, but it's kind of cold and wet. Someone want to pick me up? Why are y'all still taking photos?"
