Merry Christmas!

Lautje experienced his first Christmas dinner, and as you can see in the photo below, he was extremely enthused. In fact, he was an absolute angel, sitting quietly while the Daddy and Mommy took photos and ate dinner, all the while chewing on an apple (or, now that he has a couple of little teeth, it might be better said that he "scraped" the apple into submission...).
And, naturally, while Lautje was sleeping (very soundly, thankfully) Santa Claus dropped in through the balcony, had a beer and cookies with the Daddy, and left Lautje a few presents. One of the presents was a golf/1920's-paperboy hat from the Granny in Texas, that Lautje had to try on and proudly wear around the apartment on Christmas day. As you can see in the photo below, it fit him perfectly (both literally and figuratively...). So, after their first Christmas dinner and Christmas day as a family: Lautje, the Mommy, and the Daddy wish everyone a very Happy Holidays!

Under the Table

Although Lautje has grown rather substantially in the past few months, he refuses to let that minor fact alter his habits. For example, he still enjoys standing up underneath the table, even though he no longer fits... As can be seen below, he's more than happy to pull up on the Daddy's legs and simply hang out under the table.
In fact, as can be seen in the second photo, he's quite happy to hang out under the table whether he's holding on to the Daddy's legs or not. What is even more noticeable in this photo is that Lautje isn't standing even remotely straight, and his head is still bumping the bottom of the table. Moreover, he not only doesn't care, but seems to prefer it that way. Strange boy...
