Random dude pictures

Among the heaps of Lautje pictures, there are invariably some that have not made it into any of the other blog entries but that seem too cute/amusing/endearing to discard. Some of those have a funny story, such as the one where Lautje insisted that a combination of winter hat, shorts and sandals was absolutely en vogue when worn in temperatures of 39 °C and higher (ah, those were the days...) Or the one where he would not go to sleep without Bevo, Timmy and Tony the Tiger all lined up neatly next to him - and sadly, this picture fails to depict Floppy (the giant moose), Alfalfa and the Cat in the Hat who share their customary spot at the foot end of the bed. Lautje is, in fact, so insistent on the comfort of his little friends that sometimes the Mommy and Daddy wonder whether he will eventually just relinquish his bed to them and sleep on the floor instead...
Others pictures are precious to the Mommy and Daddy because they remind them of a special moment, like when Lautje had such fun watching the monkeys at the zoo that he would not come off the log despite the fact that the recent downpour had left everything dripping wet and he ended up completely soaked:
